Grilled Swordfish with Herbed Mussels


  • 4 6-8 oz swordfish steaks

  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon or regular thyme

  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano

  • 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced

  • 2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 2 teaspoon black pepper


  • Combine marinade ingredients in food processor. 30 to 45 minutes before cooking remove fish from refrigerator. place in a bowl or ziplock bag and slather with marinade(It's more like a wet rub). Leave at room temp until cooking fish. On a hot grill, cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side.

  • Make Herbed Mussel recipe.

  • When fish is done, place each steak in a shallow bowl and pour herbed mussels over the fish. Serve with crusty bread.

  • Serves 4 people. Enjoy!
