Thai Opah Fillet


  • 1 pound opah fillet

  • 1/2 pound Thai marinade

  • !/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

  • 1/2 cup fresh snap peas (green beans or snow pea pods are great also)                                                               

  • 1/2 cup red  bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • For optional heat add Sriracha hot sauce to taste 


  • Marinate the opah in the Thai marinade for about 30 minutes. Add fish and all the marinade to a medium hot skillet. Cook for 3 minutes, add basil, peas, and peppers, cook for 2 more minutes. Flip the fish and add hot sauce if you wish. Cook for 2 to 3 more minutes. Serve over jasmine rice.
